We hope the website has given you a good insight into both DCC and the graduate opportunities we offer. We know that sometimes it’s difficult to pinpoint the exact information you’re looking for so we’ve compiled a few of our more frequently asked questions here for you.

When do applications open for the DCC Graduate Programme?

16th September 2019

What is your application deadline?

You must submit your application before 11th November 2019.

When does the programme begin?

Your start date with us would be in September 2020.

Where will I be based while I’m on the programme?

This is an international programme, so you must be prepared to relocate to any of our businesses across any of our operating countries.

What's the application process and how long does it take?

To make it onto the programme, you’ll need to progress through the following stages:

1. Register with us

2. Apply online

3. Take online test

4. Complete telephone interview

5. Join us at an assessment centre

We’ll let you know the final outcome of your application in February or March 2020, but you’ll be able to keep up-to-date on your progress through each stage in your account area.

What are your minimum entry requirements?

You must have at least a 2:1 undergraduate degree or a 2:2 undergraduate degree with a merit in a masters (or equivalent).

If I don't meet the minimum entry requirements, can I still apply?

Unfortunately not. There is stiff competition for places on our graduate programme, so we can only consider applications from people who meet our minimum academic requirements.

What type of people are you looking for?

You must be ambitious, passionate and driven to succeed. Other key qualities we look for include a commercial mindset and entrepreneurial flair.

Can I apply to more than one stream?

No, you can only make one application per intake.

I will need a work permit to work in the EEA. Can I still apply?

No. We are unfortunately unable to sponsor visas, so you must have the unrestricted right to work in the EEA in order to apply.

I graduated a few years ago. Can I still apply?

Yes of course. We welcome people of all backgrounds. As long as you meet our minimum entry requirements, we’re more than happy for you to apply.

How can I let you know if I have extenuating circumstances?

Can I reapply after failing online tests or other assessment stages?

No, unfortunately you can only make one application per intake.

Will you pay my travel expenses if I attend the assessment centre?

Yes, we will pay travel expenses of up to £200 or €250

What should I wear to the assessment centre?

Our dress code is strict business attire.

If my application is successful, will I be able to meet other people I am joining with before I start?

Before you begin your first placement, you will attend a three-day induction in Dublin where you will be able to meet all the other graduates in your cohort. You are also likely to have met some of them at your assessment centre, where there will have been opportunities for you to mix with other final candidates both during the day and at an evening networking event.
