So you’re ready to take your first steps towards a career at DCC? In this section, you can find out more about our selection process and get tips on how to complete each stage from the application form and online tests to the telephone interview and the assessment centre.
We are now closed for applications to our 2018 graduate programme. If you would like to register your interest in the 2019 DCC Graduate Programme you can do so here and we will be in touch when this opens.
At DCC we are looking for the future talent for our businesses. The graduate selection process has been designed to let you show us if you're what we are looking for in our graduates. We will be making offers to successful candidates in February 2018 and our graduates will start with us in September 2018. The process will be rigorous but we are looking for the best. If you feel you are have what it takes we look forward to receiving your application.
The first stage of the process will be to complete an online application form, giving details of your work experience, qualifications and key strengths. The information you provide will be reviewed by our Graduate Programme recruitment team and if you meet the criteria we are looking for, you will be invited to the next stage of the process. The deadline to submit your application form is 6 November 2017.
If you are successful at the application form stage of the process you will be invited to participate in the online testing stage of the selection process. This stage of the selection process involves three short tests, designed to test your numerical, verbal and logical reasoning skills. We will be asking candidates to participate in the online test stage starting mid-November through to the end of November.
If you pass the online test stage of the process you will be invited to a telephone interview with a member of our Graduate Programme recruitment team. This interview will last approximately 30 minutes and the conversation will focus on your strengths. We will be holding our telephone interviews throughout the month of December 2017. Once your interview is complete your results will be reviewed and if you have met our requirements you will be invited to the final stage of the process.
The final stage of the selection process is to attend an assessment centre with us. The assessment centre is designed to allow you to demonstrate your relevant skills and abilities in a number of different ways. Over the course of the day you will meet representatives from our companies to learn more about what it means to be part of DCC. The assessment centre will take place in Dublin on 13 and 14 February 2018.
